Nektaria – Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to Nektaria, a beekeeping idle game developed by BMSoft1024. Nektaria is a realistic beekeeping simulator that can also be played offline.

The game is free, contains optional rewarded video ads and offers in-app purchases. The game is recommended for ages 13 and up.

The game lets users build beehives, produce honey, manage varroa mites, and enjoy seasonal changes, with new challenges every day.

Data Controller

What data does the application process?

1. Offline play and local data

  • The game can be played without an internet connection. Game progress, saves and settings are stored on the device (local files, SQLite, Shared Preferences) and are not sent to the developer.
  • The application does not ask for registration and does not request the user's name, email address or phone number.
  • Achievements and game statistics are stored locally.

2. Data collected by the application

When an internet connection is available, the application collects the data below. It does not include directly identifying data (name, email address), but device identifiers may qualify as personal data under applicable law.

  • Device or other identifiers: the platform advertising identifier (the advertising ID on Android, the IDFA on iOS only with your permission, the advertising ID on Windows) and the Firebase installation ID. Purpose: usage analytics, showing and measuring ads, marketing. The identifiers are shared with Google and advertising partners.
  • App interactions: for example screens opened, in-game events and play time. Purpose: analytics.
  • Crash logs and diagnostics: a crash report with the device model, operating system version and app version. Purpose: finding and fixing bugs.
  • Purchase history: in-app purchases (for example ad removal or in-game bundles). Payment is handled by the respective store (Google Play, Apple App Store, Microsoft Store); we do not receive card or payment details, only the fact of the purchase and the purchased item.

This collection is part of how the application works and cannot be switched off inside the application. You can manage the advertising ID in your device settings, see the User rights section.

3. Optional sign-in, achievements and leaderboard

  • Signing in is voluntary; the game is fully playable without it.
  • If you sign in, the platform's game service (Google Play Games on Android, Apple Game Center on iOS where available) handles your player ID, display name, achievements and leaderboard score (Honey Sold). The provider's privacy policy applies to this data.

Third Parties and Built-in Services

Nektaria uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase (Google): Analytics (usage analytics), Cloud Messaging (push notifications such as "your extraction is ready", using the device notification token), Crashlytics (crash logs), Remote Config (remote settings).
  • Game service: Google Play Games Services on Android, Apple Game Center on iOS (where available): optional sign-in, achievements and leaderboard. It only activates if the user signs in.
  • Store billing: in-app purchases are handled by Google Play Billing, the Apple App Store and the Microsoft Store.
  • Advertising partners: the game offers optional rewarded video ads (the "Watch ad for reward" button in the shop). Watching a video is voluntary and never required. To show and measure ads, advertising partners process the advertising ID and basic technical device data. The partners depend on the advertising service currently built in; the specific name will be added here when it goes live in the release.

Nektaria does not include social media plugins.

For details on how the above services handle data, see the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information, Apple privacy policy, Microsoft privacy statement.

Data retention periods

  • Local saves and game state: until the user deletes the application or the saves
  • Settings: until the application is uninstalled
  • Identifiers and usage data (Firebase Analytics): up to 14 months, according to our Firebase settings
  • Crash logs (Crashlytics): for a short period under Firebase rules, typically 90 days
  • Purchase history: for the period required by the store (Google Play, Apple, Microsoft) and by accounting law
  • Game service data (Play Games, Game Center): until the user deletes their profile or data
  • Advertising partner data: according to the partners' own privacy policies
