Nektaria – Privacy Policy

Introduction

This privacy policy applies to Nektaria, a beekeeping idle game developed by BMSoft1024. Nektaria is a realistic beekeeping simulator primarily designed for offline play.

The game lets users build beehives, produce honey, manage varroa mites, and enjoy seasonal changes – with new challenges every day.

Data Controller

What data does the application process?

1. Offline play (default mode)

  • The application does not collect personal data (e.g., name, email, identifier)
  • Game state (saves, settings) is stored exclusively on the device (local files, SQLite, Shared Preferences)
  • No remote server communication in the base game mode

2. Optional online features (if introduced)

  • Leaderboard: player name and score (only if the user actively submits)
  • Cloud save: game state synchronization (only if the user enables it)

3. Device-side (local) data

  • Game state, saves, settings, preferences
  • Achievements and statistics
  • This data remains on the device only and is not sent to the developer

Third parties

Nektaria does not integrate:

  • advertising SDKs (no ads)
  • analytics libraries (e.g., Google Analytics) – by default
  • social media plugins
  • third-party trackers

If online features are introduced in the future, they will only connect to a remote server when the user actively uses them.

Data retention periods

  • Local saves and game state: until the user deletes the application or the saves
  • Settings: until the application is uninstalled
  • Online features (if introduced): until the user requests deletion

User rights

You have the right, among others, to:

  • access your stored data (if there is an online service)
  • request correction or deletion
  • request restriction of data processing

Since the application does not collect remote data by default, classic data protection requests (access, deletion from server) can be exercised locally, through device management.

EU users (GDPR): In Hungary, the competent supervisory authority is NAIH (https://www.naih.hu). For more information: European Data Protection Board

US users (CCPA - California): California users have rights including: access, deletion, opt-out of sale, non-discrimination. For more information: California Attorney General - CCPA

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify this policy. The updated version will be published on the website and in the application with an updated date.
